Re: Need Basic Help

Start the software and have a look at the notification area in your taskbar. Double click on the M3D logo to open the spooler (M3D calls it expert mode). Here you can manually adjust the z-axis. After removing your print from the print bed you have to recalibrate your Micro. And better change your c...

Re: Retail or Standard Edition?

No, they aren't worth the money! Get the standard plus some filament and have fun with your first 3D printer.
If you like 3D printing, you can spend more money on a bigger printer ;-)

Re: kbell engineering filament. custom temp profiles.

You can simply load the filament entering PLA + color. Afterwards change the temperature by clicking on the gear in the 3D Ink page on the top right. This way the profile get's created automatically

Re: Vorstellungsthread

Re: Newbie From Wisconsin, USA

The extruder head has kind of play or slop on the gantry. You can move it easily with your fingers. The software has to compensate this.

Try to google your questions, maybe add "reprap" to your search ;-)

Re: G-Code support - Simplify3D, Cura and the Micro

Cura vs. Simplify on the Micro in my eyes is a matter of taste. As several options Simplify offers get ignored on the Micro (e.g. automatic changing temperature during print), there is no need for buying Simplify for this machine. The slicing algorithm seems to be better. Main reason for a third par...

Re: Newbie From Wisconsin, USA

Hi Zetios, the calibration settings are store in the printers internal EEPROM, so you do not have to recalibrate when changing/reinstalling your computer in general. But there is one exception when changing to 1.3.6.3 from a lower version , as M3D has changed the calibration system... SPECIAL NOTE V...

Re: G-Code support - Simplify3D, Cura and the Micro

My M3D is also not accurately being detected. Any recommendations or is that maybe the root of my issue? So far this printer has been a hassle compared to others. And If thats off topic on this post I apologize just let me know and ill post elsewhere. There is no direct communication, as the Micro ...
